Four brothers from the Assennato family, ancestors from Leonforte, were once called \u201cthe four Cantoneri\u201d because they were said to be as tall as the corners of a palace. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section><section class=\"l-section wpb_row height_auto width_full\"><div class=\"l-section-overlay\" style=\"background:var(--color-content-link)\"><\/div><div class=\"l-section-h i-cf\"><div class=\"g-cols vc_row via_grid cols_2 laptops-cols_inherit tablets-cols_inherit mobiles-cols_1 valign_top type_default reversed stacking_default\" style=\"--columns-gap:0rem;\"><div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container us_custom_c1b485e6 has_bg_color\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_text_column us_custom_2347af9b has_text_color\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><p>The story began in 1997, when Carmelo and Rosa Assennato acquired a rustic villa in Solicchiata, in the municipality of Castiglione di Sicilia. It was not yet the winery it is today.
